To Club or Not to Club...

Over the past year I have had people ask me "Is it worth joining a club?"
Just ask Rhonda, she was last month's hostess and this is her LOOT!!  Rhonda placed a qualifying Sale-a-Bration order to get her first free reward, the rest is her hostess bonus!!  She got 2 sets of inks for 1/2 price, took advantage of the Hostess only stamp sets at amazingly LOW prices, stocked up on papers, got some punches and adhesives, and brads and ribbon!  I'd say it's worth it!
Holy Smokes, that's a LOT of Loot!!
I almost forgot to mention that adorable bag!!  Isn't it to die for?

Here's what I offer my club members:
  • New techniques every month
  • Usually 2 projects per month (sometimes just 1 if it's really detailed)
  • Monthly hostess program for each club member
  • Low monthly commitment
  • Free shipping on your birthday month
  • The ability to host a workshop the same week as your club month and I add them together for greater rewards
  •  The ability to "try it before you buy it"
  • Guaranteed sales
  • GREAT snacks!
  • GREAT group of gals to stamp with
  • A set "girls night out" to focus on your hobby! (NO KIDS)
  • Free catalogs/publications
  • Advanced notice of Stamp Camps
  • Show and Tell time to brag about your creations with people who will "oooh and aaahhh"!!
  • A LOT  of laughs!
If this sounds like something you're interested in, contact me today!  I have 4 open spots and would love to have you join us!!
Not ready to make a monthly commitment? Book your own "Girl's Night Out" for you and your friends, we'll choose a theme together and have a barrel of fun!! (not to mention all the FREE goodies you'll earn as a thank you!)

Up Line Meeting Fun!

One of the things I like best about being a demonstrator is the connections and friendships I get to make! Once per month we meet at our director's home for fun, business building tips and ideas, make and takes, and swaps...oh and let's not forget the wine!!
Here are a couple of pics of our meeting last week...
This is the make and take we worked on, it's a Starbuck's cup complete with a packet of VIO instant coffee (which I'm told is very good!)
AND this lovely lady is Rhonda!  Rhonda is in my first level down line and I was so happy to cheer on her success in stepping up a level to Senior Associate!
Don't you think her tiara is perfect?
If you're wondering how to "get in" on this, just ask me!  I'd love to have you on my TEAM!!  Join the Stampin' Up family during Sale-a-Bration for just $125.  As a bonus, you will get a free pack of DSP (designer series paper, yep the pretty 12x12 ones) or a free digital download every month you place an order during your first 12 months!  That's over $144 in paper alone, your kit pays for itself and then some!!

For Dad

My father just celebrated his 68th birthday.  He and his wife, Susan, are avid gardeners...you should see their yard!!  I used the "Homespun" stamp set to create this birthday card.  (It's hard to find a masculine card that's "garden-ish")  The background colors are Always Artichoke, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.  I ran the Vanilla through the Big Shot using the square lattice embossing folder.   This is one of my favorites to use because you actually get a totally different image on each side.   A little knot of Artichoke seam binding finished it off.  The idea for this card was not mine originally, I saw it on another demo's site (sorry, it was so long ago I forgot who)
close up of water-coloring
The artichoke was stamped in Stayz-On (always a go-to when water coloring, our basic black ink will run and take on a purple hue).  The image was then colored first with an aquapen and a retired ink Mellow Moss (sometimes you can't give up your favorites :0)I then used a blender pen with the same ink and colored in the darker sections.  I love how this gives it depth. Hope you like it!
